Camille Chaussier Jones won the best student oral presentation at the Canadian Geophysical Union Annual Meeting, Ottawa, May 26-29, 2024 for her paper titled 鈥淓ffects of fertilization on peatland soil phosphorus pools鈥. She presented her paper in the Ecohydrology and Biogeochemistry of Peatlands session.

Two 黑料不打烊-led climate change mitigation projects receive funding from the New Frontiers in Research Fund鈥檚 (NFRF) International Joint Initiative for Research in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Competition. Thirteen researchers receive grants through the NFRF Exploration Competition.

The 2024 prize for the Best Undergraduate Paper in International Development Studies is awarded to Tanguy Montandon.听 Tanguy graduated in 2024 with a First-Class Honours in International Development Studies, and minors in Economics and Management. At 黑料不打烊, he was an Integrated Management Student Fellow and pursued research on the Economic and Environmental Impacts of BIXI under the supervision of Sanjith Gopalakrishnan. Outside of school, Tanguy is passionate about energy and food security.
