Dr. Simon Ducharme was elected a a Fellow of the (ANPA). This is in recognition of his significant contributions to the fields of neuropsychiatry, behavioral neurology, neuropsychology, or the clinical neurosciences, and to the ANPA organization. Congratulations Dr. Ducharme!

This award is given by in recognition of Dr. Tourian鈥檚 work with vulnerable members of society and increasing sensitivity to their needs to improve collaborations and enhance care. As a member of the pro bono legal team supporting M茅decins du Monde (Doctors of the World) Canada,听Max Bell School professor Pearl Eliadis is pushing the Quebec government to extend public health care to women in Quebec whose immigration status is precarious and who need reproductive and sexual health services. Recently, Eliadis contributed to a brief which was submitted to the Government of Quebec.

The check-out counter is the last place paying customers visit before they leave the store 鈥 and it is a retailer鈥檚 last chance to make a sale. The counter and the aisles that lead up to it are called a cash wrap, and can be arranged to entice customers to made additional purchases. A good cash wrap should incentivize impulse buys without being pushy, according to Prof. Maxime Cohen, a Professor of Retail and Operations Management at Desautels.
