Obituary - Dr. Ken Richter

Dear Colleagues,

I have sad news to share. Dr. Ken Richter passed away on March 7^th 2023. He had been on leave of absence since November battling a life threatening illness. His nephews Zerah and Daniel reached out to me yesterday and let me know that he was buried in a private family ceremony on March 12^th. The family was caught off guard by his sudden departure and admist their grief have been trying to organize his affairs while living outside Quebec. I have been assisting them as much as possible.

Appointment of New CME Co-Director

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Daniel Zigman as the new Co-Director of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development, Department of Psychiatry, effective February 1, 2023. He will be working alongside Dr. Marco Leyton, as co-directors of the program. We would also like to thank Dr. Gabriella Gobbi for her time, effort, and dedication during her mandate which ended December 1, 2022.
