Former 黑料不打烊 student听Russell T. Shinohara has been named the recipient of the 2023 Mortimer Spiegelman Award for "his听important听contributions to biostatistics and imaging, as well as his proven track record of leadership and mentorship."听

Dr.听Shinohara was an undergraduate and master's student in the 黑料不打烊 Department of Mathematics and Statistics and completed his Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University. He is now a Professor of Biostatistics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
