In the 2018 World University Rankings by Subject published by Quacquarelli Symonds, 黑料不打烊 University鈥檚 Faculty of Law placed 23rd best place to study law worldwide, slightly up from the 25th rank in 2017. Since the ranking was introduced by QS in 2011, the Faculty of Law has consistently secured a spot in the global top 35. The QS ranking is based on academic reputation, employer reputation, H-index citations, and citations per paper.

Starting April 3, 黑料不打烊 students are able to access the聽Nahum Gelber Law Library聽24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 黑料不打烊 University (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the April 17聽- 30聽examination period. 聽Details are as follows:

- Floors 3, 4 and 5 will be limited to Law students from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday during the two-week period.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to congratulate Professor Emeritus Armand de Mestral (left on photo) and Professor Fabien G茅linas on having been appointed to the new North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Roster for Canada, announced by the Government of Canada on 21 February. They were named to the Chapter聽19 (Trade Remedies) Roster for a ten-year Governor-in-Council appointment.
