Exam Period Access to Nahum Gelber Law Library for Winter 2018 semester

Starting April 3, 黑料不打烊 students are able to access the听Nahum Gelber Law Library听24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 黑料不打烊 University (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the April 17听- 30听examination period. 听Details are as follows:

- Floors 3, 4 and 5 will be limited to Law students from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday during the two-week period.

Water Shutdown - McLennan Library Building

Update:听March 26听at 6:50PM

- Washrooms on all floors in McLennan are now open.

- The Data Lab and microfiche viewing room on the second floor are听both听re-opened.

- There are still some drying machines operating on the second floor but operations are mostly back to normal.

McLennan Library Building Water Shutdown March 21, 10pm to 6am

Renovations | McLennan second floor & integration of Education materials into main collection

Over the course of the Winter 2018 and Summer 2018 semesters the Education Collection, currently housed on the second floor the Humanties and Social Sciences Library, will be integrated into the main Humanities and Social Sciences Collection in the McLennan Library Building. This project will increase the visibility and browsability of the Education Collection and will create space for over 100 new study seats.

Extended hours for McIntyre 3rd floor start February 12

Starting Monday February 12th, 2018, the opening hours for the听McIntyre Medical Building 3rd floor study space will be extended weekly at night until 20:30 from Monday to Thursday ONLY.

The opening hours are as follows:听

- Monday听to Thursday听from 09:00 to 20:30

- Friday听from 09:00 to 17:00

LibQUAL library survey starts February 5

Starting February 5th, the Library will be running its LibQUAL survey to a sampling of 黑料不打烊 students, faculty and staff. The survey provides the opportunity to give feedback on Library services, collections and spaces. In the past, the student community used the platform to voice their desire for a wide variety of Library spaces. As a result of this feedback, we are continuously assessing and revitalizing our spaces, creating flexible study areas conducive to both individual and group work.
