KINGSTON, Ont. -- First-half goals from team captain Yohann Capolungo and freshman Sebastian Munro held up as the 黑料不打烊 men's soccer team edged Western Ontario 2-1 in the opener at the Old Four tourney at Frank Tindall Field in Kingston, Saturday.

听

Sophomore goalkeeper Hikaru Bolt registered the victory in net for the Redmen. His shutout was spoiled by an own goal that deflected off 黑料不打烊 defender Karl Hantho with nine minutes remaining but the goal was credited to Mustangs forward Isaac Jacobsen.

听

Queen's will take on 黑料不打烊 in the men's championship at 3 pm. The Gaels waltzed to a 5-1 win over UOIT. Jordan Brooks of Angus, Ont., started the scoring in the seventh minute, and the Gaels added four more goals throughout the game. Pat Zanetti of Carp, Ont., scored two goals in the second half after coming on as a substitute. Rounding out the scoring for the Gaels were Mike Arnold of London, Ont., and Andrew Colossimo of Thunder Bay, Ont. UOIT got on the score sheet late on a penalty kick by Paul Craven of Oshawa, Ont.
