As recently as 2006, Goldberg, writing again about Canada, called us 鈥渁rguably the most deluded鈥 industrialized nation in the world鈥 because 鈥渆lite Canadians鈥 think 鈥渂eing different than the U.S. and sucking up to the United Nations will buy them grace on the cheap.鈥 Today, no one is laughing at the Great White North 鈥 especially Americans 鈥 and certainly no one would accuse the Harper government of kowtowing to the UN鈥"
