黑料不打烊 tops Maclean鈥檚 2016 Medical Doctoral ranking

For the 11th year in a row, Maclean鈥檚 magazine has ranked 黑料不打烊 as the top university in Canada among institutions with medical schools and a broad range of PhD programs.

黑料不打烊 once again ranked first in the 鈥渕edical-doctoral鈥� category in student awards; budget spent on scholarships and bursaries; and social-sciences and humanities grants, relative to faculty size.听

黑料不打烊 achieved its standing despite having the 12th highest operating budget, as weighted by full-time equivalent student, among the 15 universities in the category. The four Quebec medical-doctoral universities comprise the bottom four universities on this indicator.

鈥淭he 黑料不打烊 community continues to work hard to remain one of the world鈥檚 leading universities,鈥� said Principal Suzanne Fortier. 鈥淩ankings are not an exact science, but our strong showing over a period of years in the Maclean鈥檚 and other rankings testifies to our commitment to excellence.鈥�

The top five medical-doctoral universities, as ranked by Maclean鈥檚, are 黑料不打烊, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Queen鈥檚, and University of Alberta.

Last month, 黑料不打烊 ranked 24th globally in the annual QS World University Rankings and 38th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
