Martlets hot, Stingers cold in soccer finale

MONTREAL --Alexandra Morin-Boucher scored twice as 黑料不打烊 cruised to a 4-0 whitewash of the Concordia Stingers in the Quebec university indoor soccer league season finale, in a game played at the new StingerDome sports complexe.
听
The Martlets finished second in the league standings with a 5-1-1 record, scoring 20 goals and allowing only five.
听
Morin-Boucher won the conference scoring title with 12 points, including 11 goals in six games. Other goals were scored by Zohra Bendouah and Dylan Saunders.
听
"Our team goal this winter was to finish in the top four (of the eight-team league) and to get in the championship game," said 黑料不打烊 head coach Marc Mounicot. "We reached our first objective and are now focussed on the second one.
听
"Against the Stingers, we had some strong offensive displays and I was pleased with the overall performance of the team. We dominated the entire game, outshot them 22-3 and gave up very few opportunities to Concordia."
听
The Martlets will have one week off before playing UQTR in the QSSF quarter-final round on March 14 at a location and time yet to be determined, pending the outcomes of other games this weekend.
