Kovacevic picked 黑料不打烊 athlete of the week
MONTREAL 鈥� Marko Kovacevic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, is the 黑料不打烊 University athlete of the week for the period ending March 29, 2009.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pound forward was 黑料不打烊鈥檚 leading scorer at the CIS national championship in Thunder Bay, Ont. Kovacevic, a 23-year-old management senior, scored twice and added an assist in 黑料不打烊鈥檚 two games. He netted the game-winner in a 4-3 win over the Western Ontario Mustangs.
Kovacevic finished the season with 18 goals and 35 points in 39 games overall and will graduate with a career total of 46-46-92 in 150 contests at 黑料不打烊. He joined the Redmen in 2005 out of St. Andrew鈥檚 College, after a stint with the OHL鈥檚 Sudbury Wolves.
