Desautels BCom Teams Take Two Podiums at 2014 Inter-Collegiate Business Competition

Four BCom case聽teams in Finance (Egor Gagin and Josh Kimsa), Ethics (Kristen Foster and Greg Frank), Debate (Michayel Villani and Eric Zhao), and HR (Megan Levy and Matthew Hunter) made the finals at聽the 36th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC)聽held at Queen's University from January 2 to 5, 2014. The Debate team won 1st place while the HR team finished 2nd.

After completing a written case competition in October, these six finalist teams were invited to Queen's University聽in January where they had to analyze a new case that was then presented to a panel of representatives of the business community.聽

Special thanks go out to聽all the professors who devoted their time and energy coaching the聽teams and to Professor Richard Donovan who also accompanied the聽Desautels delegation to Queen's.

ICBC is Canada's oldest and largest undergraduate business case competition. Hosted annually by Queen's University students, ICBC attracts business students from across the nation and beyond. The ICBC is an ideal opportunity for students, faculty and prominent members of the business community to interact, network and exchange ideas and experiences.
