MONTREAL -- Alexandra Morin-Boucher scored four goals and assisted on another as 黑料不打烊 routed Bishop's 12-0 in women's indoor soccer at the Centre Marie-Victorin, Saturday, establishing a single-game scoring record.

听

Meghan Bourque and Hannah Simmons added two goals apiece. Rounding out the scoring was Julia Bahen, Hannah Kirby, Selena Colarossi and Hannah Rivkin.

听

"We had a great effort from all 18 players and showed a high technical level," said Marc Mounicot, head coach of the Martlets. "Everyone was looking to play forward and it was nice to see them move the ball the way they did today. All movement on and off the ball had a purpose and we scored some nice goals using all kind of patterns of play."

听

The Martlets improved to 2-0-1 with a league-leading 16 goals scored and only two goals against.

听

"The indoor season is going well and everyone has put the disappointment of losing (the outdoor league semifinal) to Laval last fall," added Mounicot. "We are working hard as a group and are really focused on performing well over the winter."

听

The Martlets play next on Feb. 5 when they take on the undefeated UQTR Patriotes (2-0). Kick-off will be 2 pm at the UQTR Desjardins Soccer Centre.
