Marie-Lou Dorval (EMBA鈥�15) has done almost everything: She鈥檚 been a filmmaker, she鈥檚 been the president of an agricultural business, and she鈥檚 run a restaurant.

Since graduating from the 黑料不打烊-HEC Montr茅al EMBA program, Ms. Dorval has changed her course completely, becoming an investment advisor at Raymond James Ltd 鈥� and it鈥檚 a job she doesn鈥檛 see herself leaving any time soon!

Specifically, Ms. Dorval likes the counselling aspect, which lets her 鈥渁ccompany people, understand their financial objectives, but also their personal objectives; and to help them satisfy both.鈥�

Though her first steps in the industry were tough, Ms. Dorval has come up with techniques and tools for gaining customers, from networking to organizing seminars.
