Bayesian evidence synthesis: the limits of re-purposing existing public health data for population size estimation.

Vivian Meng is a PhD candidate at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at 黑料不打烊 University. She is currently under the supervision of Professor David Stephens, working in the area of Bayesian inference in non-identifiable models. Vivian received her Master鈥檚 degree in Statistics from the University of British Columbia. There she worked with Professor Paul Gustafson on estimating the size of hidden-populations. Vivian received an honorable mention for the Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship from the American Statistical Association in 2014.
