Super science documentary film - "Democracy 4 Dummies" (NFB, 2007)

Introduced by filmmaker Sophia Male, this satirical documentary shows aspiring politicians how average candidates run for public office, with little or no money. Its irreverent tone targets young people who are often too apathetic toward politics to vote, let alone run for office. Also present will be the film's star, Dylan Perceval-Maxwell, a long-time Green Party candidate and owner of a hemp store in Montreal's trendy Plateau neighbourhood. Dylan's opponent during his last election campaign, Bloc Qu茅b茅cois leader Gilles Duceppe, ultimately won the riding, but Dylan got the most votes of any Green Party candidate in the province.
