Law as Transformation
Hosted by the , this conference
will provide a lively forum for students to share their continuing
research on a wide variety of law-related subjects.
This year's theme considers law and its transformation, focusing on
the substantive and methodological aspects of graduate legal
research. The broad theme, "law as transformation," has been chosen
as a way of looking at the multiplicity of projects, interests and
aspirations each participant will bring to the conference.
What are the implications for the way we think about the world and
ourselves once we begin to conceive of law as transformation? Do we
see our research as being in some way about changing law? In what
ways is our legal research changing us?
