Abstract

Dr. Tariq Ghayur, Ph.D. 黑料不打烊 University (1986) joined BASF Pharma in 1990, which was later acquired by Abbott Laboratories in 2000. He has worked on both small molecule and therapeutic antibody discovery programs, mainly defining the biology/pathology of selected targets (target validation) and developing assays for high throughput screening and/or candidate selection. More recently, he has worked on developing novel forms of antibody-based therapeutics. Since 1996 he has initiated and/or worked on several therapeutic antibody programs for treatment of immunological, neurological, and metabolic diseases. In addition to therapeutic antibodies and antibody generation technologies his areas of expertise are inflammation, lymphocyte biology, cytokine biology and transplantation rejection.
