Malaria has been a scourge of mankind for millions of years. We still have no vaccine and we're running short of anti-malarials. Parasitology professor John Dalton will tell you why combating one of the simplest biological organisms on earth is a very complicated business.

This is the fifth in the Madonald's 12th Annual FOOD FOR THOUGHT Lecture Series. This year's theme, "Macdonald - Across the Oceans and Around the World", brings together professors involved in international teaching and research.

The series is held every other Tuesday from September to November and is open to everyone.

For more information and details about the talks and speakers, please visit the Food for Thought website.
