Joe Schwarcz, BSc'69, PhD'74, is Director of 黑料不打烊's Office for Science and Society, a one-of-a-kind group aimed at increasing science literacy. Believing that the role of the University extends beyond the Roddick Gates and that its teaching responsibility continues after students graduate, Schwarcz and his colleagues believe strongly that teaching doesn't stop at the classroom but extends beyond, to the larger community.
