Chief Investment Officer鈥檚 Class of 2017 Forty Under Forty list is out. It鈥檚 a roundup and Q&A with forty up-and-coming investment leaders from across the globe, selected by anonymous nomination.

Among the laureates is 31-year-old Desautels alumnus Christophe Truong (MBA鈥�16), who is a pension investment manager at Air Canada in Montreal. When asked why he chose his career, Mr. Truong says 鈥淚t chose me!鈥� For him, feeling in control is key to being decisive in the face of negative surprises or major changes in his team鈥檚 portfolio. Interestingly, his favourite piece of investment software is Microsoft Outlook.
