Your CV and tailored cover letters are the key to presenting your experience and qualifications in a persuasive way to prospective employers.
Where to start
You should begin to prepare your CV in first year, and you should聽draft cover letters as soon as you are considering applying for positions. The CV will be a work in progress throughout your studies and professional career, while your cover letter will need to be adapted and revised for each application you submit. Consult the Application Materials Guide for guidance (Resources > Application materials).
Start by attending a CDO workshop on application materials and carefully reviewing the Application Materials section. Draft a CV and a letter that fully incorporate all of the relevant advice.
