Changes to Signals Notebook and ChemDraw

Revvity, the vendor of Signals Notebook and ChemDraw, is changing the portal used to access this software package. See below for specifics regarding the changes to each software.

Changes to Signals Notebook

The vendor is replacing the current version of Signals Notebook with a new version that will be accessed through the new portal. Any data saved in the cloud of the current version of Signals Notebook will be deleted after Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.

If you have logged into your Signals Notebook account since 2023:

• Your account was automatically moved to the new system. You will have received a confirmation email that includes a link to the new portal.
• If you have Signals Notebook data you wish to keep, you must migrate it by logging in to the new portal and following these .
• If you do not wish to keep this data, no action is required on your behalf.

Although migration time will vary according to the number of experiments being moved, tests have shown that it should take less than five minutes to download and re-upload approximately 40 experiments.

If you have NOT logged into your Signals Notebook account since 2023:

• Your account is NOT being moved to the new portal. You will no longer be able to access Signals Notebook after Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. You should have received an email from IT Services to this effect.
• If you may need Signals Notebook in the future, you must export your data before Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. Follow the instructions on .
• If you do not wish to keep this data, no action is required on your behalf.
• To request access to the new Signals Notebook portal, please contact the .
• Important: Because all your data will be deleted from the old system on Feb. 28, your new account will be empty and you will need to import any data you wish to use.

Changes to ChemDraw

If you have logged into your ChemDraw account since 2023:

• Your account was automatically moved to the new system. You will have received a confirmation email that includes a link to the new portal.
• To use the newest version of the ChemDraw desktop app, download the installer from the new portal and install ChemDraw version 23.2.1.

If you have NOT logged into your ChemDraw account since 2023:

• Your account is NOT being moved to the new portal. You will no longer be able to access ChemDraw after Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. You should have received an email from IT Services to this effect.
